1. I know! It was fantastic! I love blathering on about my school!! I think they should pay me or something. Or at least offer me employment.
This may possibly interest you:
I went tide pooling today and studied hermit crab behavior (because the waves were so huge I couldn’t get past mid inter-tidal, despite a decent tide) when you throw a good shell in the middle of a pile of them. It was amusing and involved a lot of hermit crab bickering, which always adds additional amusement. You should validate these findings.

*Cat, you remember that time when the waves were huge and terrifying and we had to count hermit crabs and Tegula all quickly on our bellies in rock creases for 350? Sometimes I have to remind myself that that really happened.

  2. [Flash 9 is required to listen to audio.]

Day 16- A song that makes you almost cry.

Okay, well this song doesn’t really make me cry, Ponie by The Blue Hit does, but I can’t find that song and mine is still owned by Itunes. So This is in second place.

  5. Music you should buy:

    Takk…

    Sigur Ros

Okay. So I KNOW that I am not the first person to ever recommend this CD to you. The question is, why have you not purchased it yet? The music is amazing. Simply amazing. The music is haunting, beautiful and a departure from the regular stuff that we are subjected to on a daily basis. A combination of slow, building tones and chords that often crescendo in passionate music-gasm that can only be described as amazing. “Hoppipola” is mildly reminiscent of childhood (maybe its because of the video for the song that it brings this to mind… don’t forget to buy the album when you finally realize that you have been in love with Sigur Ros all your life.) “Saeglopur” is the song that started me on Sigur Ros, and was found in some video game trailer. I’m not afraid to admit that I didn’t find the song by going to a friends house and them popping the cd in or turning on Itunes.

I digress. The CD ends with “Heysatan” which you just have to listen to to understand the dauntlessness and peacefulness that the song ends the album with.

Itunes link to album below. Music video for Hoppipola above and from that I’m sure you can find the rest.

    Merry Christmas!
